Constitutional Court (MK) annulled KPU’s result number 411/Kpts/KPU/2014 for West Kalimantan Province DPRD election result, in accordance with PKPI and Nasdem vote revenue in West Kalimantan 6 in Jangkang Village, Selampung Village, Balai Sebut Village, Tanggung Village, Jangkang District, and Engkode Village, Mukok District. The sentence, capped upon number 01-01-20/PHPU.DPR-DPRD/XII/2014 recited by Head of MK, Hamdan Zoelva on Thursday (26/6) at MK Plenary Room.

In the sentence, MK decides that Nasdem’s and PKPI’s correct votes in mentioned villages as revised below: in Jangkang village, Nasdem: 64 votes. PKPI: 160 votes; Selampung village, Nasdem: 38 votes and PKPI: 254 votes; Balai Sebut, Nasdem: 52 votes and PKPI: 142 votes; Engkode village, PKPI gained 117 votes.

In the verdict, MK found some oddities of Nasdem’s and PKPI’s votes as been noted in the C1 and DA1 form, in all TPS of Jangkang District. According to the data and evidences as being mentioned before, Mahkamah with no doubt decides the true result is what had been written on the C1 forms as being delivered by the Plaintiffs and Defendants, as the mentioned forms are considered reliable.

“Considering upon listed explanations, Plaintiffs’ arguments over Dapil West Kalimantan 6 are proven on law, partially,” Justice Anwar Usman said..

Meanwhile, Pleadings of PKS, PKB, Golkar, PAN, Gerindra, and Hanura over West Kalimantan Province, are rejected entirely by the Court. Moreover, PPP’s and PBB’s pleadings are considered unacceptable.(Lulu Anjarsari/kun)
